Each time someone reports anti-social behaviour to us, it is recorded on our system which allows us see if there are trends in anti-social behaviour in one area. This information is helping us to make sure that we are spending the right amount of money and time in those areas, in order to prevent and manage on-going cases of anti-social behaviour.
Information is key
Residents of Kingsteignton expressed their concerns about pet and animal nuisance such as dog fouling in their area. From this we identified five priority areas and carried out work with the PDSA to tackle this problem.
We have identified that Buckland, Newton Abbot has the highest amount of youth related anti-social behaviour in our area. Because of this we will be targeting this area to try and prevent any further anti-social behaviour by trying to engage with younger people in the area and carry out some diversionary activites, read our success stories for last years activites.
