Getting Online

We have set ourselves the target of making Teign Housing digital by default by 2019. This means that over the next few years we will be introducing more and more online services and, where we can, sending you things by e-mail rather than post.

We now send out our monthly In Touch E-zine, instead of the printed In Touch that you used to receive twice a year.  If you want to continue hearing about all our latest news, you will need to provide us with your e-mail address. If we have already got your e-mail address, you will automatically receive the monthly E-zine. Paper copies of the newsletter will be available at our offices so that you can pick it up when paying your rent or meeting a member of staff. If you are unable to get to our offices regularly then we will, of course, be happy to post it to you, but you will need to let us know that you are opting in for this service.

DigiBugs - supporting you with the change
We understand that a number of you don’t have an e-mail address or access to a computer, or you do, and you're not yet confident in using them; this is why our DigiBugs run free Wednesday drop-in sessions at our town centre office in Newton Abbot. Our DigiBugs are members of staff who will share their experience with you in a 1 to 1 session at a pace that suits you - you tell us what you want to learn and we'll do our best to help you out. If you have your own laptop or tablet that you want to bring in, please do so and you can connect to our public Wifi. Teign Housing's DigiBugs can help with:

Why are we changing?
The main advantage of switching to digital communication is that we can send you more relevant and timely information about our services and events. The other advantage is that it saves money as there are no print or postage costs.
