Teign Housing celebrates 10 years of providing housing services

Teign Housing, celebrated their 10th anniversary on the 4th February 2014. Teign Housing, who now managed over 3600 properties in Teignbridge, was formed on the 4th February 2004 after residents voted to transfer Teignbridge District Council’s council homes. To mark the occasion, Teign Housing hosted an event for staff, board members and involved tenants, from past and present, to reflect on the last 10 years and to look forward to the next.

Stephen Purser, chair of the board said: “It is fantastic to see Teign Housing reach this landmark. To reach our 10th year in such a strong position is also something to be very proud of. It’s a testament to all the hard work that our staff and involved tenants have put in over the years. From day one we have wanted to provide quality housing services for Teignbridge, and we will continue to do this and achieve much more over the next 10 years.”

Teign Housing will also be hosting a series of other events in communities across Teignbridge, throughout 2014, to involve as many residents as possible in the celebrations. A new logo  and corporate vision  and plan have been created to drive Teign Housing’s ambitions forward.
