From Wednesday 24 August, we will no longer have a manned reception at our head office, Millwood House, and we will no longer be taking any payments at this location. Instead we will be operating a ‘light touch’ reception for visitors who have pre-booked appointments with staff. A manned reception will continue to run at our town centre office where payments will be taken.
We made the decision to do this as footfall to our Millwood House office has steadily reduced since we opened our ‘shop’ in the Market Square, Newton Abbot. We have been carefully monitoring our visitors to Millwood House over several months and recording the purpose of their visit. Tenants who visit Millwood House to make payments are considerably lower in comparison to our shop, therefore, we believe that introducing a ‘light touch’ reception will offer better value for money with minimal impact on tenants. Customers who do come to Millwood House will be encouraged to make payments via alternative methods such as Direct Debit.
