How can we possibly understand what issues are affecting your local community if we never go there?

To make sure we’re always at the heart of your local community, our Neighbourhood Services Advisors get out and about visiting your local area every three months. Take a look at when they'll be in your neighbourhood>>

We’ll be looking out for issues such as litter, abandoned cars, tenancy breaches and damage due to vandalism as well as assessing the standard of ground maintenance and identifying communal repairs.  We also organise regular 'clean up days'.  If there are any particular issues you’d like your Neighbourhood Services Advisor to look into, please e-mail or phone them.

Your caretaking service

The caretakers' duties vary from site to site and are tailored to meet site and customers' specific needs. The service they provide is paid for you, as part of your service charges.






Their duties include maintaining the internal and external communal areas by:

litter picking
removing graffiti
removing fly-tipped items
sweeping & weeding pathways
mopping floors
reporting repairs
replacing bulbs
carrying out health & safety checks

In addition there is a responsive caretaking service for all areas across Teignbridge that do not receive a regular caretaking service. If you need to report a responsive caretaking issue please contact customer services on 01626 322722
