How does the TeignCare alarm system work?
We fit a small alarm unit to your existing telephone line and give you a discreet pendant, which can be worn around the neck, as a bracelet or on a clip.  To call for assistance you simply need to press the pendant and it will send an alarm call to our team of trained and understanding operators, who will answer your call in seconds.

What equipment do I need?
The alarm requires an electrical supply and a BT line socket, which should be on the same wall. Installation of the alarm does not require any modification to your home and can be easily removed if required.  It does not affect your telephone line in any way, so you can continue to make and receive calls as normal.

You don't need to buy an alarm system.  TeignCare hires out the life saving alarm units, meaning you and your family can have peace of mind for less than you may think.

 

How much does it cost?
Alarm unit hire - £3 per week (43p per day) excluding VAT
Additional pendant hire - 73p per week excluding VAT

One off installation payment - £35 excluding VAT

What happens if I press the pendant but can't speak?
Your details, including where you live, will be automatically displayed at the control centre - so even if you can't speak to us to tell us what is wrong, the operator will be able to help you.

We require customers to provide us with the names and contact details of three key holders who are able and willing to attend your home in the event of an emergency and/or false alarm.
