Supported housing

Supported housing schemes are a group of homes that have been designed specifically for people who are older or have a disability and would benefit from the support of a Support Officer and a 24 hour community alarm service.  We provide over 600 homes that are supported by a Support Officer to help people to remain independent in their own home for longer. When on duty (Monday to Friday 8am-4pm) your Support Officer can offer help such as:

• Liaising with outside services and agencies
• Housing related support (e.g. filling in forms)
• Encouraging social activities
• Responding to emergencies
