With your feedback we have been able to work with you and other local agencies to help improve the communities in which you live.

In response to your requests and feedback in Buckfastleigh we:

  • organised a dog fouling campaign
  • held a clean up day - clearing gardens of rubbish, tidying up local pathways and filling two large skips full of unwanted goods
  • organised a juggling workshop for local children
  • provided a community notice board
  • re-painted the parking bays in the Gipsy and Fairy Lane car parks
  • organised a TEPEE play session for local children
  • put together a Neighbourhood Watch Scheme

In response to your requests and feedback in Heathfield we:

  • held a neighbourhood action day
  • installed a new salt grit bin at Sharps Crest

In response to your requests and feedback in Kingsteignton we:

  • we organised a PDSA health check day in Kingsteignton. This gave you the opportunity to have a free health check for your pet and to collect lots of free treats

In response to your requests and feedback in Chudleigh we:

  • have taken part in community days with the local Police
  • provided skips and organised community clean up days
  • advised you on how to report abandoned vehicles
  • we are working with Teignbridge District Council to focus on fly-tipping, dog fouling and graffiti
  • introduced a caretaking service for The Elms

Kingsway, Teignmouth
In response to your requests and feedback in Kingsway we:

  • provided seven litter bins to help reduce the litter problem
  • organised a litter pick event followed by a picnic lunch
  • organised a high profile ‘scoop that poop’ dog fouling campaign with information leaflets and free dog fouling bags were issued to dog owners. We still have dog fouling bags available free of charge at the Kingsway office
  • completed work at the shop and are currently waiting for confirmation of the new business.
  • have installed new recycling units and where the old, larger recycling containers have been removed, we havecreated some additional parking spaces
  • have tarmaced the small patch of grass to the front of 88-98 Kingsway to create an extra parking space.
  • have improved, with your help and gardening skills, the flower bed behind the maisonettes during our community planting day
  • conducted a speed monitoring exercise with the Police
  • organised a skip day which was very successful and has seen a reduction in the amount of items being stored in communal areas
