Resident Involvement leads to better decision making, improved services and increased customer satisfaction. We have lots of ways for you to get involved depending on what your interests are and how much time you can spare.

The Tenants’ Forum meet with staff every six weeks to discuss and make recommendations for many areas of the business. Meetings are held on Thursday evening – transport is available and out of pocket expenses are paid.

The Scrutiny Panel take part in project work, or service reviews and make recommendations to our Senior Management Team and the Board. The panel is made up of a diverse group of tenants who are selected through an application process. Transport is available and out of pocket expenses are paid.

As a mystery shopper you will be trained to observe, experience and evaluate a Teign Housing service. Once a year you will be given three scenarios to carry out and report back. Mystery Shopper identities are kept a secret with very few people at Teign Housing knowing who they are. As a thank you, you will be given a £25 voucher of your choice for completing the ‘shops’.

The Customer Panel receive a short, easy to understand survey twice a year to get your views on our services. Everyone who responds is entered in to a draw to win prizes of £100, £50 and £25 in vouchers of your choice. If you are a current Customer Panel member and introduce a friend, who then completes the next survey, you will be given a £10 voucher as a thank you.

Teign Housing offers support and training for residents who get involved with us, and we will work closely with residents to identify any training needs they may have.
