About the Business Intelligence Manager role

Teign Housing as with other Housing associations is operating in a dynamic and changing environment and through the Social Housing Regulation Bill is required to present increased transparency of performance information and reporting.
Critical to meeting the requirements of regulation is trusted and well developed data sets which a Business intelligence (BI) function is pivotal to delivering. We have a clear vision of becoming a data and insight-driven organisation in order to maximise service delivery for our tenants. You will make this happen as you develop new tools and systems to facilitate analysis and improved understanding of information, whilst providing senior management with clear strategic guidance. This will involve leading our Business Intelligence team and interacting closely with both Digital Services colleagues and external

About you

Experienced in acquiring and processing large and complex datasets using APIs, you should be well versed in digital analysis expressions (DAX) and information management software including Power BI, and SQL . Needless to say, you will be exceptionally numerate, with meticulous attention to detail and proven ability to transform raw data into meaningful management reports, dashboards and interactive presentations. Above all, you should possess the insight to predict future trends and draft forecasts to empower decision-making at all levels, with innate flair for explaining complex data to non-specialist audiences.
