Claiming your Universal Credit

Below is information on making your claim, from the information you need to starting the process itself.

Before you start your claim you will need to have some information to hand

 

  • Personal Information: National Insurance numbers for you and your partner
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Your address and postcode
  • Your landlord’s name and address
  • How much rent you pay and how often i.e. weekly, monthly, four weekly
  • Names of all the tenants on the tenancy agreement
  • Number of bedrooms in the property
  • Details of any services included in the rent and the charge for these
  • Number and date of any rent free weeks
  • Your bank account details
  • Details of any savings you or your partner have
  • Any salary, wage or other income you or your partner has
