Teign Housing is delighted to announce the return of our annual ‘Teign in Bloom’ garden competition for 2026 – an opportunity for residents to celebrate creativity, colour and community spirit through gardening.
Whether you have a sprawling garden, a cosy balcony, or a collection of potted plants and hanging baskets, this competition is open to all Teign Housing residents.
It’s not about having the biggest space, it’s about making the most of what you have and showing off your green-fingered flair.
Who can enter?
Everyone is welcome! You can enter if your outdoor space is:
- A private garden
- A shared or communal outdoor space
- A balcony or patio
- Made up of pots, containers, or hanging baskets
No matter the size or style, every space has the potential to bloom beautifully.
What can I win?
Winners will receive:
- A £25 National Garden Centre gift card to help you continue growing your garden
- Their name proudly inscribed on the Teign in Bloom winners’ cup, which they will keep for a year
It’s a fantastic way to be recognised for your hard work and dedication.
Key dates to remember:
- Entry deadline: Friday 12 June 2026
- Judging: Early July (exact date to be confirmed)
You won’t need to be present for judging, just ensure your garden is accessible to the judging team on the day.
