This week, we’re supporting ASB Awareness Week, an opportunity to raise awareness of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and highlight the positive role we can all play in creating safe, welcoming neighbourhoods.
Anti-social behaviour can take many forms, including excessive noise, vandalism, intimidation, nuisance behaviour, fly-tipping and other actions that negatively affect the quality of life of those around us. While some incidents may seem minor in isolation, repeated behaviour can have a significant impact on residents’ wellbeing and sense of security.
As a social housing provider, we are committed to working with residents, local authorities, police and community organisations to prevent and tackle ASB. We encourage residents to report concerns, as early reporting helps us understand issues, provide support and take appropriate action where necessary.
Creating thriving communities is a shared responsibility. By treating neighbours with respect, looking out for one another and reporting concerns when they arise, we can help ensure our neighbourhoods remain places where everyone feels safe and valued.
