About the Business Support Advisor role
In one of these key positions, you will significantly strengthen our Customer Hub by delivering efficient and effective customer service. Acting as the first point of contact for enquiries via telephone, email, web chat, social media and post, you will liaise with colleagues and contractors to resolve queries and make things happen. Every day will bring different challenges as you process, taking rent payments and giving advice about rents, log repairs, diagnose faults, mutual exchanges/tenancy assignments, resolve parking disputes and provide support for minor issues of antisocial behaviour.
At the same time, you will assist in running a busy reception area and organising promotional events, whilst managing income from garages, attending and minuting meetings, producing marketing materials and updating our website.
We need passionate professionals who love to keep busy and enjoy building great relationships with people from all walks of life. If you’re familiar with the social housing sector or qualified in customer service or administration, so much the better, but it’s your personality and your ability to plan and manage your own workload that will matter most. We are looking for people who are confident in having difficult conversations, adaptable and embracing of change, have the ‘can do’ and ‘making it happen’ approach plus an appetite for learning the necessary ‘technical’ knowledge
