Help us make the place we live, look even better.
We want to build great communities, not just great homes. You’ll help us make it happen.
About the Estates Caretaker/Cleaner role
Dealing with everything from internal communal areas to external car parks, bin areas and flower beds, you will set the highest standards of hygiene and make certain that public spaces are litter-free. At the same time, you will maintain a broad range of cleaning equipment and report any failures to your manager, and will on occasion liaise with external contractors, so you can expect considerable variety and real job satisfaction.
To join us, you should possess sound cleaning and caretaking experience, preferably gained within a social housing environment. A formal health and safety qualification would be useful, as would awareness of risk assessments, but more importantly you will be a hard worker with deep passion for getting things done and making communal areas even better.
We are an Investor in People Platinum organisation, so you will be joining a company that creates a supportive high-performance culture. You can also expect to enjoy an excellent benefits package, including:
• Training opportunities
• 25 days’ leave plus bank holidays and discretionary leave between Christmas and New Year
• Pension scheme
• Free parking
• Employee Assistance Programme
• And much more
