Teign Housing is a successful social landlord employing over 90 ambitious and committed people, responsible for managing more than 3,600 homes across South Devon. Effective fiscal control is central to our continued success and, as one of our Finance Assistants, you will ensure the efficient processing of our financial and payroll data within a closely-knit team.

About the Finance Assistant role

In addition to entering information for our weekly and monthly payroll, you will take on responsibility for our sales and purchase ledgers, cash book, expense claims and direct debits. At the same time, you will administer utility invoices, service charges and will also administer for company vehicles, utilising your outstanding organisational and time management skills to the full.

About you

Experienced in all aspects of transaction processing, you will join us from a busy accounts environment, giving you everything you need to hit the ground running. Notably, you will be adept at dealing with customers and resolving their queries, capable of prioritising a busy workload and able to demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.

Finally, some knowledge of residential social landlords and their activities would naturally be very useful but is by no means essential. In return, we offer plenty of scope to take on additional responsibilities and actively develop your career.
