About the Lettings Coordinator role
Delivering a high-quality, customer-focused and efficient lettings service, you will go the extra mile to minimise voids and ensure we select the right residents. This will involve placing advertisements, interviewing and shortlisting applicants, conducting detailed background checks and liaising extensively with local authorities and other stakeholders whilst actively managing your own workload. Notably, you will assist vulnerable tenants in finding the homes they need and will ensure that new residents are fully aware of their legal obligations, so you will require excellent interpersonal skills and a real passion for making a difference.
An experienced and capable administrator, you will bring excellent customer service skills and a high level of computer literacy. A background in social housing would be very useful, as would familiarity with lettings procedures and relevant legislation, but more importantly, you will be self-motivated, capable of meeting deadlines and ready to use your initiative to the full. Finally, it is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
