Involving our residents in decision-making at every level, you will oversee the engagement and consultation process to empower them and help us listen to diverse voices. This will involve being the staff lead for Tenants’ Forum, Scrutiny Panel and Service Board whilst championing new approaches to outreach and induction. At the same time, you will interpret and communicate feedback to shape service delivery, secure funding for local residents’ groups and facilitate collaboration with relevant agencies to deliver positive outcomes. This will give you considerable impact on the way we think and work, so you will need real passion for customer service and the drive and determination to make things happen.
You will be highly adept at relationship building and capable of engaging positively with people from all walks of life. As an effective problem solver with plenty of initiative, you will enjoy balancing priorities and making decisions, and you will be ready to go the extra mile to help transform service delivery. Finally, proven ability of working with volunteers would be very useful, but more importantly you will be flexible regarding hours and responsibilities and happy to attend evening meetings whenever required.
