If you can manage complex risk, we can promise exceptional rewards.

Teign Housing is a successful social landlord employing over 90 ambitious, committed people, responsible for managing more than 3,700 homes across South Devon. We are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, and, as our Risk and Quality Partner, you will be central to everything we do as you help us build sustainable communities and provide cleaner, greener and safer neighbourhoods.

At Teign Housing, we’re passionate about giving our residents the best possible homes and our team the best and most flexible careers. Our culture of agile working means our 90 people enjoy an exceptional work/life balance, with the option of spending much of their time based at home. We believe giving you choice over when, where and how you work will improve both your wellbeing and your performance – creating a win-win situation for you, for us and for the thousands of people who rely on us.

About the Risk and Quality Partner role

Working with our Head of Risk & Assurance you will assume responsibility for risk management, internal audit, assurance, business continuity and insurance, and you will be central to our organisation’s continued operation. To this end, we will look to you to help build a proactive risk culture and advise on carefully limiting exposure whilst regularly reviewing our working practices and procedures. Notably, you will set clear internal controls, deliver wide-ranging training on risk issues and act as a critical friend throughout long-term projects to ensure that every team member treats risk as a key consideration.
About you

It’s a significant challenge that will give you an extremely high profile, so you will need an impressive record of achievement in risk management and internal control. Adept at managing projects, safeguarding stakeholders and achieving best value, you will be well versed in the policy framework surrounding Registered Social Landlords and keen to achieve formal risk management and quality auditor qualifications with our support. Finally, it would be useful if you are already an auditor to BSI standards, but this is by no means essential if you have the drive, determination and commercial acumen we require.

Benefits

As an investor in People Platinum organisation, you will be joining a company that creates a supportive high-performance culture. We offer an excellent benefits package with a contributory pension scheme, 25 days’ leave per year plus bank holidays, free parking and an agile, modern working environment.

If you believe you’re the right person for our Risk and Quality Partner role, please apply with your CV and send to jobs@teignhousing.co.uk or alternative apply via our online application form.
