About the Lead Management Accountant role
In this key position, you will be part of a small team and take responsibility for our financial and statutory reporting. Acting as the main point of contact for our annual external audit, you will prepare and review management accounts, key reconciliations, KPIs and scorecards whilst taking the lead in setting our budget and providing comprehensive advice to operational managers. Equally importantly, you will be working on our fixed asset register, VAT returns and the calculation and updating of rent and service charges, so you can expect considerable variety and an enormous impact on our bottom line.
About you
A highly experienced management accountant, you will hold ACCA/CIMA status or the equivalent, and will certainly be an expert in general ledgers, asset registers, statutory accounts, and reporting. Familiarity with accounting requirements for capital projects would also be useful, as would a proven record in change management, but it’s your ability to scrutinise information, explain financial concepts to non-specialist audiences and meet stretching targets and deadlines that will matter most.
